Label Fee (Non-Marketplace carriers)

The Label Fee (NMFC) is applied to cover the costs associated with generating and processing shipping labels for shipments made with a customer’s own carrier or when using third-party billing. 

This fee includes:

  • Label Generation for Third-Party Shipments: Facilitating the creation of accurate shipping labels for shipments processed through external carriers or under third-party billing arrangements.

  • Integration with External Carriers: Supporting the integration and compatibility with a variety of carriers, allowing customers to use their preferred shipping provider while still utilizing our TMS platform.

  • System Infrastructure & Support: Covering the operational costs of maintaining the technology infrastructure required to process these shipments, including label generation, tracking, and reporting.

  • Ongoing Maintenance: Ensuring that the label generation system remains up-to-date with the latest carrier requirements, security standards, and system improvements.

  • Cost Recovery for Label Printing: This fee helps recover the costs incurred by the system and platform to print and process shipping labels for third-party carriers, ensuring that your shipments are processed smoothly.

The Label Fee (NCMF) ensures that your business can continue using our platform to manage third-party shipments with minimal disruption, while allowing us to cover the costs associated with label generation and system maintenance.
